Dance workshops will be held from Monday-Friday (20-24 April) at Vaughans Pub in Kilfenora, from 10.30-12.30.
These will cover set dancing and other forms of céilí dance and dance steps. Both beginners and more advanced dancers will be catered for. The teaching fee is just €10.
If you are interested, just go straight to Vaughans Barn adjoining the pub by 10.15 and register with dance teacher Karine Luçon. (Note that the Friday class will be elsewhere in the pub.)
On Saturday 25 April, Karine will be offering a Breton dance workshop from 13.30-15.00 at a fee of just €5. This will be held in the back hall of Kilfenora Community Hall. Just go down the side of the hall to the rear entrance; registration is at 13.15.
Karine Luçon is a highly experienced dance teacher of both Irish and Breton dance forms, and is also a performer and coach with the Avalon dance troupe in Brittany – see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d317czE05sI
