Kilfenora competitors at Clare Fleadh 2013

Congratulations to the Kilfenora competitors at the Clare Fleadh in Miltown last weekend, and in particular: Tara Howley – 1st senior Uillean pipes; Aine Griffey (15-18) – 3rd in fiddle, 1st in fiddle slow airs; Jessica Nea (U12) – 1st in accompaniment, 2nd in piano, 2nd in fiddle slow airs; Laura Griffey – 1st in fiddle slow airs (U12); Niall Hegarty – 1st in mandolin (U12); Emma Kelly – 1st in Misc (U12); Grainne Howley – 2nd in accompaniment (12-15); Niamh MacMahon – 3rd in accompaniment (U12); Tom Hartigan – 3rd in Misc (U12). If we can obtain the full results from Clare Comahaltas, we will make these available. Tara Howley also managed to fit in an appearance at the inaugural Doolin Folk festival last Friday, playing with her sister Eimear in the opening concert.
