A ceremony was led by Father Ned on 4 March to mark the provision of a headstone for the grave at Kilfenora Cathedral of Paddy Reynolds, known as the ‘Piper’ – see the photograph and poem dedicated to him in Vaughans pub. From Doctors Hill, Kilfenora, and a popular figure in North Clare, he died in 1980. A good crowd assembled, and a few tunes were played in his honour. The headstone was provided courtesy of John Vaughan and Liscannor Stone. (See more photographs at http://www.facebook.com/kilfenoraclare ).
